Sygora LLC — Privacy Policy

How We Collect, Use, and Protect Your Information

Applies to sygora.com, the Sygora online booking flow, and all direct bookings

Service area: San Francisco · Oakland · Berkeley

Version 1.0 (Website Edition) | Effective: July 21, 2026

This Privacy Policy explains what information Sygora LLC ("Sygora", "we", "us") collects when you use the website at sygora.com (the "Site"), request a quote, or book cleaning services, and how that information is used and protected. It should be read together with the Terms of Service at sygora.com/terms, the Service Agreement at sygora.com/service-agreement, and the Cancellation Policy at sygora.com/cancellation-policy.

1. THE SHORT VERSION

We collect only what we need to quote, schedule, perform, and bill cleaning services, and to send you messages about your bookings. We do not sell your personal information, we do not share it for advertising, and we do not run advertising or tracking networks on the Site. Payment cards are handled by Stripe — we never see or store your full card number.

2. INFORMATION WE COLLECT

2.1 Information you provide

  • Contact details: name, email address, phone number.

  • Service address and property details: address, ZIP code, service type, bedrooms, bathrooms, square footage, property condition, pets, and selected tiers and add-ons — used to compute your quote.

  • Access and logistics notes: parking instructions, gate or entry codes, and any notes you add for your cleaner.

  • Referral source: how you heard about us, if you choose to tell us.

  • Communications: the content of texts, emails, and platform messages you exchange with us, including confirmation, skip, and reschedule replies for recurring plans.

2.2 Information created when you book

  • Booking records: booking ID, quoted price, deposit amount, appointment date and window, booking status, and timestamps.

  • Policy acceptance records: the version of the Cancellation Policy you accepted at checkout and the timestamp of your acceptance (clickwrap record).

  • Payment references: Stripe customer and payment identifiers, payment status, and payment timestamps. These are reference tokens only — your full card number is collected and stored by Stripe, not by Sygora.

  • Recurring plan records: for recurring customers, your plan cadence, locked rate, and visit history (confirmed, skipped, and rescheduled dates).

2.3 Information from third-party booking platforms

If you book through Thumbtack, Airbnb, or Angi, we receive the booking details and contact information the platform passes to us. The platform's own privacy policy governs what it collects from you on its side.

2.4 Information collected automatically

The Site is a booking site, not an advertising site. We use only the technical data needed to operate it: standard server logs (IP address, browser type, pages requested) and the in-browser state needed to carry your quote through the booking steps. We do not use advertising cookies, analytics trackers that profile you across other sites, or social-media pixels.

3. HOW WE USE YOUR INFORMATION

We use the information above to:

  • Compute and display quotes, check availability, and confirm bookings

  • Schedule, route, and perform cleaning services, including giving your assigned cleaner the address and access notes needed for the visit

  • Process deposits, balances, and any Cancellation Policy fees through our payment processor

  • Send transactional communications: booking confirmations, reminders, recurring-visit proposals, reschedule and cancellation notices, receipts, and service follow-ups

  • Maintain the clickwrap and booking records that document our agreement with you

  • Handle re-clean requests, damage reports, and disputes, and enforce our agreements

  • Comply with legal, tax, and accounting obligations

We do not use your information for third-party advertising, and we do not send marketing messages unrelated to your service relationship with us.

4. HOW WE SHARE YOUR INFORMATION

We share personal information only with the following categories of recipients, and only for the purposes described above:

  • Your assigned cleaner — name, address, access notes, and service scope for your visit.

  • Payment processing: Stripe, Inc., which processes deposits, balances, and Card on File charges and stores your card details under its own privacy policy.

  • Business software providers that host our booking, scheduling, records, and email systems (for example, Google Workspace and our workflow and website hosting providers). These providers process data on our behalf and are not permitted to use it for their own purposes.

  • Booking platforms (Thumbtack, Airbnb, Angi) — for bookings placed there, we exchange the booking-related messages and details the platform requires.

  • Legal and safety: where required by law, subpoena, or court order, or where reasonably necessary to protect the rights, property, or safety of Sygora, our cleaners, our customers, or others.

  • Business transfers: if Sygora is merged, acquired, or sells its assets, booking records may transfer to the successor, which must honor this Policy for previously collected data.

We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it for cross-context behavioral advertising.

5. TEXT MESSAGES AND EMAIL

By booking, you consent to receive transactional texts and emails about your bookings at the contact details you provide, as described in the Terms of Service. Message and data rates may apply. You may opt out of texts by replying STOP; this may limit our ability to send reminders and confirmations and does not by itself cancel any scheduled service. Mobile opt-in data and consent are not shared with third parties for marketing purposes.

6. ACCESS CODES AND SENSITIVE LOGISTICS INFORMATION

We recognize that gate codes, entry instructions, and notes about your home are sensitive. This information is used solely to perform your service, is shared only with your assigned cleaner and the systems needed to deliver it to them, and is never used for any other purpose. You may ask us to delete stored access codes at any time after your service relationship ends. You can also change any code after a visit — we recommend using temporary or guest codes where your entry system supports them.

7. DATA RETENTION

  • Booking, payment, and clickwrap records are retained for as long as needed for tax, accounting, and legal purposes (generally up to seven years), because they document the contract and payments between us.

  • Expired holds — bookings that were never paid — are marked cancelled and retained only as operational records.

  • Access codes and logistics notes are deleted on request once no future service depends on them.

  • Communications are retained for as long as reasonably needed to service your account and resolve disputes.

8. SECURITY

We protect your information using access controls on our booking and records systems, credentialed connections between our systems, and payment processing that keeps card numbers off our infrastructure entirely (Stripe-hosted checkout). Access to customer records is limited to Sygora personnel who need it to schedule, perform, or bill your service. No system is perfectly secure, but we limit both what we collect and who can see it.

9. YOUR CHOICES AND CALIFORNIA PRIVACY RIGHTS

Regardless of whether the California Consumer Privacy Act technically applies to a business of our size, we honor the following for all customers:

  • Access: ask us what personal information we hold about you, and we will tell you.

  • Correction: ask us to correct inaccurate information (for example, a changed phone number or address).

  • Deletion: ask us to delete your personal information. We will delete everything not required for tax, accounting, legal, or dispute-resolution purposes, and we will tell you what we must retain and why.

  • No discrimination: exercising these rights will never affect your pricing or service.

To exercise any of these rights, email contact@sygora.com or text 415-573-3588 from the contact details on your booking. We will verify your identity against the booking record before acting on a request, and we aim to respond within thirty (30) days.

10. CHILDREN

The Site and our services are intended for adults. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under eighteen (18). If you believe a minor has provided us information, contact us and we will delete it.

11. THIRD-PARTY SITES AND SERVICES

The Site links to third-party services — including Stripe's checkout pages and the booking platforms — that operate under their own privacy policies. We encourage you to review those policies; this Policy covers only information handled by Sygora.

12. CHANGES TO THIS POLICY

We may update this Policy from time to time. The updated version will be posted at sygora.com/privacy with a new version number and effective date. For material changes affecting existing customers, we will also notify you by email or text before the change takes effect.

13. CONTACT

Questions or requests about this Policy may be directed to contact@sygora.com or by text to 415-573-3588.
