Deep cleaning

Deep cleaning services in San Francisco, Oakland & Berkeley

Some homes are past the point where a regular clean will do. Maybe you moved in eight months ago and never got around to it. Maybe there’s a landlord walkthrough coming, or it’s simply the first professional clean you’ve ever booked. A deep clean is built for exactly that moment — one fixed scope, one dedicated cleaner, and no menu of tiers to work through before you can see a price.

Takes about two minutes. No callback, no sales pitch.

01 / Scope

What a deep clean covers

A deep clean is the full room-by-room reset. The scope is fixed, so what you see here is what you get every time.

Kitchen

Bathrooms

Every room

On top of that

A deep clean carries the elevated scope: interior windows, appliance fronts, exterior cabinet detailing, light fixtures, blinds, inside the microwave, and beds made with fresh linens. It’s the same scope our Complete-level house cleaning covers, worked against a heavier starting condition — which is the real difference. We plan the time for a home that hasn’t been done in a while, instead of squeezing it into a maintenance visit.

If you’d like the room-by-room version in more detail before you book, our deep cleaning checklist walks through it.

02 / Which one

Deep clean or standard clean: which one you need

Short version: if it’s been six months or more since a professional clean, or you’ve never had one, go deep. If you’re keeping on top of things and just want the regular reset, standard house cleaning is the right call and it’ll cost you less.

Go deep

Six months or more, or never

Standard is enough

You're keeping on top of things

If you just want the regular reset, standard house cleaning is the right call and it’ll cost you less.

Still weighing it up? We wrote a longer piece comparing the two side by side. And if you pick the wrong one, tell us before we arrive — we’d rather move you to the right service than clean the wrong one well.

No tiers, no condition selector

For a deep clean you don’t pick a package. There’s one scope and one price path. Tiers and condition levels exist on our standard house cleaning, where they genuinely change what gets done — here they’d just be a maze between you and a number.

So the only things you tell us are the basics about your home. We do the rest of the math.

03 / Limits

What's not included

Being straight about the edges saves you a surprise on the day.

We clean from the floor or a two-step stool. Anything above that reach is out of scope, including exterior windows above ground-floor reach and any ladder work. We also don’t move heavy furniture or appliances.

And we don’t offer same-day or rush service — we’d rather give you a real slot than a rushed one.

Jobs we don't take at all, at any price
Skipped unless you ask

Home offices with visible documents or electronics, nurseries, pet sleeping areas, rooms with anything valuable in view, and any locked room.

Tick them at booking and we’ll clean them. Leave them and we won’t go in. Your home, your call.

Everything else in your home is ours to clean — the list above is the whole of what we hold back, not a sample of it.

04 / Price

What it costs

Oakland and Berkeley
$293

Pets, flat

$35

Booking minimum across the board

$179

Where your number lands depends on the size of your home, how many bathrooms it has, whether there are pets (a flat $35 covers the extra dander and hair workload), and any add-ons you choose. Our booking minimum across the board is $179, and deep cleans start above it.

You’ll see the full figure before you pay anything. Head to the quote form, answer a few questions about your place, and the price comes back to you on the spot — no callback, no sales pitch. Full price detail and the complete add-on catalogue live on our pricing page if you want to compare services first.

05 / Add-ons

Add-ons you can bring into a deep clean

The fixed scope is already broad, so most people don’t need extras. When you do, these can ride along with the visit:

There’s a $30 minimum per add-on. Prices for each one show up as you build your quote, and they’re all listed on the pricing page. Pick them at booking or ask us on the day and we’ll tell you what it changes.

06 / Dust

Dust, dander and pet hair

If someone in the house is sensitive to dust, the deep clean is the visit that gets it out. We dust reachable surfaces throughout, vacuum carpets and rugs, and get the places a quick clean skips — blinds, light fixtures, appliance fronts, the tops of things you don’t look at. Pet hair and dander come up with it.

That’s a description of what physically leaves your home, and we’ll leave it there. What we can tell you is where the dust actually is, and that we’ll be working on it rather than around it.

07 / Areas

Deep cleaning in San Francisco, Oakland and Berkeley

We work in three cities: San Francisco, Oakland & Berkeley. That’s home turf, and keeping the map small is why we can hold real arrival windows instead of vague ones.

Deep cleaning services in San Francisco run at the SF starting price above. Oakland and Berkeley have their own starting figure, listed in the pricing section. Same scope, same dedicated cleaner, same booking path in all three.

Sygora is a single-member LLC, owner-operated, insured and bonded — the owner of the business is the one picking up when you call. Sygora maintains general liability insurance appropriate to a residential cleaning business.

08 / After

After the deep clean

Most people book a deep clean as a first-visit reset, then keep it easy from there with a recurring plan — weekly, bi-weekly or monthly, with the same dedicated cleaner each time. Recurring rates are commitment-based, and the details sit in our cancellation policy.

You’re not signed up for anything by booking a deep clean. It’s a one-off unless you decide otherwise, and the offer stays open after the visit.

09 / FAQ

FAQs

A standard clean is the regular maintenance visit — kitchen, bathrooms, dusting, floors, tidying. A deep clean adds interior windows, appliance fronts, cabinet detailing, light fixtures, blinds, inside the microwave and beds made with fresh linens, and it’s scheduled with more time because the home is starting from a heavier condition. We compare the two in detail in our standard-versus-deep write-up.

Deep cleaning starts at $326 in San Francisco and $293 in Oakland and Berkeley. What moves the number is the size of your home, how many bathrooms it has, whether there are pets, and any add-ons you pick. The quote form gives you the firm figure in about two minutes.

No. Deep cleaning is one fixed scope with one price path. Tiers and condition levels apply to our standard house cleaning, where they change what actually gets done — for a deep clean there’s nothing to pick.

Yes, all products and equipment. Nothing needed from you. If you’d prefer we use eco and green products, add that at booking — it’s a paid add-on.

It depends on the size and condition of your home. Your quoted hours reflect your assigned cleaner’s time, and one dedicated cleaner does the whole job. If a home needs more than roughly nine hours, we split it across two consecutive days — you’ll see both dates before checkout, and it’s still one deposit.

That’s what this service is for. When conditions are heavy, the price is calculated automatically and then reviewed by us before anything goes ahead. On that path nothing is charged and no time slot is held — we confirm the price with you first, then call to find a date. Hoarding-level conditions we’re not able to take on.

If anything’s not right, tell us within 24 hours and we’ll re-clean the affected areas free.

Book your deep clean

Answer a few questions about your home and you’ll have your price in minutes. If your home is in heavy condition, or the job runs over three days, it goes to review or a custom quote instead — we’ll tell you which one you’re on before you pay anything.

Questions first? Call or text 415-573-3588, or email [email protected]. A real person answers.

Deposit

At checkout you pay a deposit of 30% of the total, with a $50 minimum. The balance is due on completion, same day, by whatever method you prefer — we never auto-charge the card on file for service.

Hold

Your date and time are held about 30 minutes while you pay. If the hold expires, it cancels itself with no fee.

Cancellation

Cancel at least 7 days before your clean and your deposit is refunded in full; with less notice, it’s applied toward the cancellation fee. The full cancellation policy is one click away.
