Clear the small stuff — lamps, toys, plant pots, anything breakable, anything on the floor you’d rather we didn’t work around. Your cleaner works around what stays. We don’t move heavy furniture or appliances, and we don’t do ladder work beyond a two-step stool. That’s a safety limit, not a shortcut, and it keeps your things and our people out of trouble.
The carpet will be damp when we finish, not wet. We open things up and keep air moving through the room while we work. Your cleaner will tell you on the day when it’s ready to walk on and when the furniture can come back — it depends on the room, the airflow, and how thick the pile is, so you’ll get a real answer rather than a guess.
