Got an area rug that’s seen a few years of foot traffic? We clean rugs by the piece, right where they sit, as part of a normal Sygora visit. Small rugs start at $60, medium at $100, large at $140. You’ll have one dedicated cleaner for the job, and you’ll know the price before anyone comes out.
Takes about a minute. Rugs from $60.
Two or more rugs cleaned in the same visit gets you 15% off all of them. Your cleaner confirms the size on site before the work starts.
Loose area rugs, in the rooms where you keep them. Runners in the hallway, the big one under the dining table, the small one by the front door — all of it is priced by size, not by material or pattern.
Here’s what we don’t do. We don’t take rugs away, and we don’t do off-site work. If your rug is a high-value piece that needs a specialist — an antique, a silk weave, something you’d normally send out — we’d rather tell you now than guess. Size is confirmed on site by your cleaner, and anything unusual gets quoted on its own rather than forced into a tier.
Sizing is straightforward. Your cleaner checks the rug in person and confirms which tier it falls into before the work starts, so the number on your quote is the number you agreed to. If a rug sits on the line between two sizes, you hear about it first, not after.

We work in three cities: San Francisco, Oakland & Berkeley. That’s the whole map, and it’s on purpose — a tight service area means we’re never far when you need us.
Area rug cleaning in Oakland and Berkeley runs on the same size tiers as San Francisco, and pricing in both East Bay cities is about 10% below San Francisco. Same cleaner model, same booking path, same rug sizes. If you’re in Oakland or Berkeley and you’re not sure whether your ZIP is in range, the quote form will tell you in a few seconds.
These are starting prices. What moves the final number is the size tier, how many rugs you have, and whether the rug is riding along with a house clean or anchoring a visit of its own. Your booking record fixes the final price, so nothing changes on you after the fact.
Two or more rugs cleaned in the same visit gets you 15% off all of them. That includes the small ones — there’s no “only the big rugs count” catch. It’s the simplest way to get the price down, and most people with several rugs do exactly that.
It takes about a minute.
A Sygora visit needs to reach a $179 minimum. Rug cleaning can be the anchor of that visit, or it can be added to a house clean you’re already booking. Either way, the quote shows you the full total before you pay anything.
If you’re already booking house cleaning, rug cleaning goes on as part of that visit. Your cleaner handles the rooms and the rugs in one trip.
Rug cleaning can be the reason for the visit. The total just needs to reach the $179 minimum, which two or three rugs will usually do on their own, and a couple of add-ons will cover from there if not.
Not sure which way makes sense for you? Put your details into the quote form and both totals are easy to compare before you commit.
These are two different services, and the pricing works differently, so it’s worth thirty seconds to land on the right one.
They come up off the floor, they’re cleaned by the piece, and they’re priced by size — small, medium, large.
That’s carpet cleaning, with its own minimum and its own booking flow. There’s also a per-room carpet add-on you can attach to a house clean, which is a separate item from the standalone service at $95 per room.
If you’ve got both — three rugs and carpeted stairs, say — mention both in your quote and we’ll sort out how they fit into one visit.
Tell us your city, your home, and how many rugs. The quote comes back with a total.
A 30% deposit ($50 minimum) holds it at checkout. Your price and time slot are held about 30 minutes while you finish paying, so don’t leave it open in a tab overnight.
Your dedicated cleaner arrives in the arrival window, checks rug sizing with you, and gets to work. We bring all the products and equipment. If you’d rather we use eco/green products, that’s a $35 add-on.
Same day, by whatever method you choose. Nothing gets quietly charged to your card.
If anything’s not right, tell us within 24 hours and we’ll re-clean the affected areas free.
Small rugs start at $60, medium at $100, and large at $140. Size decides the tier, and your cleaner confirms the sizing in person before the work starts. Run your details through the quote form for the real total on your rugs.
In your home, during the visit. We don’t offer pickup and we don’t send rugs off-site for processing. That means no waiting weeks to get your rug back — and it also means we’re not the right call for a piece that genuinely needs specialist off-site work.
Yes. A visit needs to reach the $179 minimum, and rug cleaning can be the anchor of it. If your rugs come in under that, adding them to a house clean is usually the better value.
Yes. Two or more rugs cleaned in one visit gets 15% off all of them.
Rugs are loose and priced by the piece at the size tiers above. Wall-to-wall carpet is a separate service with its own per-room pricing and its own booking flow — that’s carpet cleaning.
We do. San Francisco, Oakland & Berkeley are the three cities we cover, and pricing in Oakland and Berkeley runs about 10% below San Francisco.
