Some jobs aren’t the whole house. It’s the mattress in the guest room, the grout line in the bathroom, the hardwood in the hallway, or a leather armchair that’s picked up a year of hands and elbows. We clean all four, either as part of a regular visit or as the reason for one. Your dedicated cleaner handles it, with our products and equipment, in San Francisco, Oakland & Berkeley.
Takes about two minutes.
Booked on their own, or added to a house clean.
Specialty surface work covers mattresses, tile and grout, hardwood floors, and leather furniture. Each one gets its own approach, and each one can be booked on its own or added to a house clean.
A few things are true across all four. The same person cleans your home each visit, so nobody has to re-learn your place. We bring everything — products, cloths, machines — and if you’d rather we use eco-friendly products, that’s a preference you can add at booking. We clean what’s reachable from the floor or a two-step stool. Anything higher than that we leave alone, and we’ll tell you upfront rather than surprise you on the day.
If your surface isn’t on this list, it’s worth asking anyway. Rugs, wall-to-wall carpet, and fabric sofas are all things we clean — they’re just booked differently, and we’ll point you to the right one further down.

Mattresses collect dust, hair, and general life. We vacuum the surface and seams thoroughly, spot-treat marks where the material allows, and leave the mattress dry enough to make up the same day. If you’re stripping the bed anyway, that’s the moment to have us do it.
This is cleaning, not repair or restoration. We won’t treat a mattress that’s been through anything on our exclusions list — biohazard situations and pet urine are outside what we take on, for any surface. If you’re unsure, describe it when you ask for a quote and we’ll tell you straight whether it’s a job for us.
We clean tile and grout. We don’t seal, regrout, or repair it. If a tile is loose or cracked, that’s a job for a tile setter, and we’ll flag it if we spot it.
Tile usually looks fine. Grout is what people actually notice. We clean tile faces and work the grout lines with the right tools and products for the surface, in bathrooms, kitchens, entryways, and floors. Expect the grout to come back toward its original color, not to a color it never was — old grout that’s stained through is stained through, and if that’s what we’re looking at, we’ll tell you before we start rather than sell you a second visit.
Hardwood is easy to clean badly. Too much water, the wrong product, and you get haze or worse. We clean hardwood the way the floor is meant to be cleaned: dry pickup first, then a controlled damp clean with a product suited to a finished wood floor, edges and corners included.
This is routine care, not refinishing. We don’t sand, screen, recoat, or repair floors. If your hardwood needs the finish redone, cleaning won’t fix that, and you’re better off with a flooring contractor first and us after.
We clean leather, we don’t recolour, recondition as a repair, or fix cracking and peeling. And if what you have is a fabric sofa, loveseat, or sectional, that’s our upholstery cleaning service, which uses steam equipment and is booked separately. Say what you’ve got when you ask, and we’ll route it to the right one.
Leather here means the leather surface itself — armchairs, dining chairs, ottomans, headboards, and the leather panels on furniture that mixes materials. We clean the surface gently with products meant for finished leather, working seams and contact points where wear shows most.
Most people add a surface to a house clean already on the calendar. It’s the simplest way to do it, and your dedicated cleaner is already there. If you’re due a whole-home reset, a deep cleaning visit is often the better container for it.
You can also book a specialty surface as the visit itself. The one thing to know is our booking minimum: a visit needs to come to $179 or more, and pairing two surfaces is the usual way there — say, the mattress and the leather chairs, or tile and hardwood in the same trip. Tell us everything you want done and we’ll build the visit around it.
There are also rooms we skip unless you check them at booking: home offices with documents or electronics out, nurseries, pet sleeping areas, rooms with valuables, and anything locked. That’s on by default because it’s your home and your call.
Per visit, when a surface is the reason for the visit. Pairing two surfaces is the usual way there.
Three of these we do clean — just on their own page, with their own booking. The rest we don’t take at any price.
Loose rugs — area rugs, runners, anything you could pick up and move — are handled by our rug cleaning service.
Carpet fitted to the floor goes through our carpet cleaning service, with its own booking and its own minimum.
Upholstery cleaning covers those, including loveseats and sectionals.
Different jobs, different pages, so pick the one that matches what’s actually on your floor.
None of that is a price question — it’s simply not what we do, and knowing it now saves you a wasted booking.
We’re insured and bonded. Sygora maintains general liability insurance appropriate to a residential cleaning business. And if anything’s not right, tell us within 24 hours and we’ll re-clean the affected areas free.
These four surfaces are quoted on request rather than published as a rate, because the price depends on what the surface is, how much of it there is, and what condition it’s in. A mattress in a studio and 400 square feet of kitchen tile are not the same job, and a single number would be wrong for both.
Send those over and you’ll get a real number for your actual job — not a range you have to guess your way through.
Takes about two minutes.
San Francisco, Oakland & Berkeley — all four surfaces are quoted individually in each of the three.
Either works. Most people add it to a house clean that’s already booked, which is the simplest route. You can also book the surface as the visit itself — it just has to reach our $179 booking minimum, which usually means combining a couple of surfaces or pairing one with a clean.
These four are quoted on request rather than listed at a set rate. The price depends on the surface, the size or quantity, and the condition it’s in. Tell us those three things and we’ll come back with a firm number for your job.
Yes, both — they’re just separate services from this one. Loose area rugs go through our rug cleaning service. Wall-to-wall carpet fitted to the floor goes through carpet cleaning, which has its own booking flow and its own minimum. If you’re not sure which yours is, the test is simple: if you can pick it up and move it, it’s a rug.
No. Leather here is surface care for finished leather — chairs, ottomans, headboards, leather panels. Fabric sofas, loveseats, and sectionals are upholstery cleaning, which uses steam equipment and is priced and booked on that page. Tell us the material and we’ll put you in the right place.
San Francisco, Oakland & Berkeley. That’s the whole map, and it means we’re never far when you need us. All four surfaces are quoted individually in each of the three.
We clean what’s reachable from the floor or a two-step stool — above that is outside our scope, so no ladder work. We also don’t take on refinishing, sealing or repair, mold, pests, biohazard situations, pet waste or urine, hoarding-level conditions, or moving heavy furniture and appliances. Better you know the edges before you book than after.
Which surface, how much of it, what shape it’s in, which city. Takes about two minutes.
